Welcome to the False Creek Yacht Club Clubhouse 

The False Creek Yacht Club is located just inside the entrance to False Creek on the North side of the Creek just under the Granville Street Bridge. It is approximately 21 minutes from Vancouver International Airport. and within walking distance of Downtown Vancouver, with abundant FREE parking.

The award-winning Bing Thom-designed clubhouse is located on the top floor of the 3-storey building and provides stunning vistas of Granville Island, False Creek, and the brilliant sunsets and fireworks over English Bay from the panoramic lounge, bar and wrap-around patio. Our award-winning caterers offer a superb menu with ever-changing weekly features.

Hours Of Operation

Casual member access is from 11:00 to 4:30 daily, and an honor-system coffee service is provided. Please call the office at 604-682-3292 before arriving, in case the lounge is booked for an external event.

Member nights are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4:30pm-10:45pm with the bar open for the duration. The kitchen is open 5:00pm-9:00pm for dinner service. We gladly welcome reciprocal members and moorage guests during these times.

Children are welcome in the dining lounge during all opening hours if supervised by their parents.

Access at other times is illustrated on the clubhouse calendar for member and non-member events We love hosting daytime and evening events!

Entertainment

The lounge includes up to 3 big-screen TVs, a dance floor, wifi and a pool table for member use.

The large patio provides comfortable seating, firepits, seasonal heating, and BBQs.

We love to party! Check the calendar for events happening at the club, including Sports Nights, Pool and Poker Tournaments, Speaker Presentations, Wine Tastings, Live Bands & Dancing on select Fridays and Saturdays and more, all in the Lounge.

We have several signature events each year including Sailpast in May, Fishing Derby in September, and the Commodore's Ball in December.

Visitor Code of Conduct 

The False Creek Yacht Club is a private club not normally open to the public, but we also enjoy sharing our wonderful facilities with the community. Members are encouraged to bring guests on member nights, and selected events such as our speaker series and Saturday dance parties are open to the public.

If you’re a guest or a visitor, you are asked to comport yourself as you would visiting the house of a friend. 

We expect you to treat our staff with utmost courtesy, to respect club property, and to do nothing that might interfere with members’ peaceful enjoyment of the club. If the staff or a club member asks you to change your behaviour, please do so.
